Brahmani River Pellets Private Limited (BRPL) was incorporated in 2006 and is engaged in the production of high-quality iron oxide pellets. The Company commenced commercial production of iron oxide pellets in July 2013. Tata Group and the Lloyds Metal Group, which has expertise in steel making and mining operations respectively are its current promoters.
Brahmani River Pellets Private Limited is one of the largest merchant pellet manufacturers in India with a Pellet manufacturing capacity of 4 MTPA supported by beneficiation capacity of 4.7 MTPA.
The Company's manufacturing facilities are strategically located in Odisha. Its Beneficiation Plant is situated in the heart of Odisha's iron ore belt and is equipped with a state-of-the-art slurry pumping system. Beneficiated iron ore is transported in slurry form through a long-distance slurry pipeline to the Pellet Plant located at the Kalinganagar Industrial Complex, Jajpur.
The Company has established an Integrated Management System (IMS) and is certified to ISO 9001:2015,14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, and ISO 50001:2018.

In 2026, BRPL further expanded its business portfolio by entering the MDO business, marking an important milestone in the Company's growth journey and strengthening its presence across the iron ore mining value chain.
