The Company was incorporated in 2006 and is engaged in production of Iron oxide Pellets. The commercial production of iron oxide pellets commenced from July, 2013. JSW Group and Thriveni Group which has expertise in steel making and mining operations respectively are its current promoters.
Brahmani River Pellets Limited is one of the largest merchant pellet manufacturers in India with a Pellet manufacturing capacity of 4 MTPA supported by beneficiation capacity of 4.7 MTPA.
The manufacturing facilities of the Company are strategically located in the state of Odisha. Its Beneficiation Plant is located at iron ore hub of Odisha having state of the art slurry pumping station for supply of iron ore in slurry form through a long distance slurry pipeline to its Pellet Plant located at Kalinganagar Industrial Complex, Jajpur.
The Company is certified for Integrated Management System (IMS) - ISO 9001:2015, 14001:2015 and 45001:2018.
